Come down to Baja and enjoy a windy winter retreat! Located 2.5 hours north of Cabo San Lucas, La Ventana is a small, quiet yet windy town where kiting and winging enthusiasts from around the world come to experience. The long beach with consistent, side shore winds make La Ventana a popular WindSports destination for people of all ages and abilities. The windy season starts to build in October, peaking Nov-April, and tailing off in the early summer months. A good, classic La Ventana wind blows 20 to 25mph starting late morning and blowing till 5/6pm. There can be breaking swell that excites the wave-riders but the winds can also blow lighter, 10-15mph, making for great foiling conditions.

There are many accommodations in La Ventana. From luxurious, beachfront resorts to private mid size houses to hostel stays, you can find a space that suits your style. There are a variety of restaurants offering a variety of food in both Mediterranean and Mexican cuisine. After a day on the water, there’s often night time entertainment with live music and parties.
